Set the Hire Window Around the Whole Job

Think past the drive itself. If you are moving a washing machine to a relative's house, allow time for loading, the journey there and back, wrestling it upstairs and refuelling before return. A two-hour slot that ignores the unloading rarely ends well, so most people round up to a half-day.
